Heritage Division of Land Rover: Launched

Land Rover launched the Heritage Division to cater to the 70% of the vehicles it made since 1948 – and are still out on the road (whoa! Now that’s what I call durability and legacy!)

These vehicles are supposed to be out of production for 10 years.  Owners will now have access to genuine parts which has been made using the original tooling, including body and trim pieces. As they go along more parts will be included in the inventory and it even comes with a warranty (this news couldn’t get any better!)

To date, included models are: Range Rover Classic, P38, Discovery 1 and 2 models with Series 1, 2 and 3 variants.

Owners of the classics Defender need not worry, as Land Rover also announced that they will be supplying parts for this iconic car.

The Heritage Division will be officially launched at Techno Classica in Essen, Germany. It is under Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations.
